What’s the weirdest food combo you've ever eaten? For me, it was a peanut butter and jelly sushi roll. Yikes! Honestly, it wasn't awful, but I think I'll be sticking to normal sushi from now on.
However, the True Girl S'More recipe card deck---a free downloadable we're creating to release this summer---is going to include some adventuresome options. We're releasing two of the recipes this week in the hopes that you'll help us develop more. Move over Great British Baking Show! Commencing now is the Great True Girl S'More Recipe Contest, and you and your girl are invited to enter. Keep reading to learn how you and your daughter can win some pretty sweet prizes worth over $100.
But first, here are two of our amazing s'more recipes.
Staci's Tuna Sandwich S'More
True Girl Lead Teacher, Staci, is absolutely wild about tuna. We weren't surprised when she put together the "Tuna Sandwich S'more." She said no to the sweets and YES to the flavor! Her bold choice of rich feta cheese combined with some jalapeño spice in this tuna sandwich definitely caught my eye!
Dannah's Peanut Butter Cup S'More
True Girl co-founders, Bob and Dannah Gresh, got themselves a fire pit last summer and enjoy having people over to make s'mores. Dannah's cabinet is full of flavored gourmet marshmallows like strawberry, cookies & cream, and mint chip--along with homemade old, fashioned vanilla. Since she considers herself a s'more connoisseur, we though we ought to include her in our sample recipe cards. We are loving her sweet creation! "The Peanut Butter Cup S'more" may be simple but it is worth every bite.
