Welcome to True You, a round table discussion based on the top 25 lies teen girls face and—more importantly—the Truth that sets them free. Here at our round table of Truth, no discussion is off limits. Today we will tackle emotions gone wrong.

About 20 percent of all teens experience depression or anxiety. Do you know someone that’s struggling? Are you? It’s nothing to mess around with. Every 100 minutes a teen takes their own life. We want you to know . . . there is hope.

Today, Staci Rudolph shares about her battle with depression and anxiety. Though she experienced freedom from struggling chronically, it’s something she’ll have to be sure to keep in submission to God’s truth daily. Start learning how to do that by watching this episode of True You now:

If you've been struggling with similar things, here are some Scriptures that could help you on your freedom journey. Look them up, write them in your journal, memorize them, and live in the Truth of them!

  • Psalms 139:11-12
  • Jeremiah 29:11
  • II Timothy 1:7

We’d love to hear from you! Send us your freedom story—that’s what we call it when God sets you free through His Truth found in the Bible. Post your 1-minute video on social media and tag @liesyoungwomenbelieve or upload it here, and it could be selected to be featured on a future episode of True You.
