Did you know that women played a BIG role on the day of Jesus’ resurrection?

On Sunday morning, Jesus first appeared to Mary Magdalene and Mary. Think about that! In a time when women were often forgotten about and mistreated, God chose them to be the first to learn the greatest news this world has ever heard...JESUS HAS RISEN FROM THE DEAD!

When they found out, they didn't just pack up and go about their day. They immediately went and boldly shared the news with others!

The story of the women at the tomb gives you two great things to talk to your daughter this week:

  1. Share with your daughter just how significant she is in the Lord’s eyes. He values women and has entrusted them with the Good News.
  2. Encourage her to live out her faith as boldly as the women in the Bible who got to declare, “He is risen!”

To make your job a little easier, we’re offering a FREE downloadable coloring sheet for your “little woman”, to give you the perfect opportunity to share this story with her! Grab your colored pencils and spend some time meditating on Matthew 28:1-8 as you get creative.
