I have some breaking news to share.
For years, moms have been asking me:
“What do you have for my teen girl?”
At True Girl, we’ve been laser-focused on helping younger girls develop deep roots in God’s Word. But I knew that something more was needed for the next season of a girl’s life—something vibrant, relevant, and spiritually rich for teens. And while some of my best-selling books are for teens, we don't have an ongoing ministry to nurture their faith.
Well, all that's about to change!
Here's how it went down.
I’m thrilled to finally announce we are currently hard at work creating WONDER—a daily digital Scripture experience designed specifically for teen girls aged 13–17.
WONDER isn’t just another app. It’s a lifeline. A tool to meet girls where they are—on their phones or devices—and draw them into something much greater: the beauty and truth of God’s Word.
This project has been stirring in my heart for five years. And now, it’s becoming a reality.
Launching in January 2026, WONDER will give teen girls:
- Daily Videos: Short, engaging content rooted in Scripture, tackling real-life questions about identity, friendships, purpose, and faith.
- A Protected Environment: With the full Bible embedded in the app and all content housed safely inside, there's no need to venture onto the internet to engage fully.
- Interactive Tools: Designed to build a daily habit of Bible intake, WONDER encourages consistent reading through rewards and reflection prompts.
- A Teen-Friendly Design: Warm colors, intuitive navigation, and multi-generational voices make it inviting and easy to use.
- A Global Vision: Starting in English, but prayerfully preparing for global impact in Spanish and beyond.
Here’s why this matters so much:
Teen girls today are navigating overwhelming pressures—relentless comparison, cultural confusion, and rising anxiety. But God’s Word has always had the power to bring clarity, confidence, and peace.
WONDER is how we plan to put that power in the palm of her hand.
This app is being developed through a unique partnership between Pure Freedom/True Girl and our friends at Revive Our Hearts. Together, we’re asking: What if daily Scripture engagement became as common as scrolling social media? What if we helped her fall in love with God’s Word before the world had a chance to tell her who she is?
That’s the heart behind WONDER.
And I can’t wait to share more with you as it unfolds.

3.) Consider prayerfully giving. The overall budget for the next three years is $900,000. This needs to be raised above and beyond our existing budget needs. We praise God that He is slowly providing for a $200,000 goal to end our fiscal year well on June 30th.
