70% of tween girls aren’t reading their Bibles. At least that’s what moms told Dannah Gresh when she had coffee with hundreds of them. She asked the mothers if their girls were reading their Bibles and praying daily. Here’s what they said:
- 30% said "yes."
- 48% said "no."
- 22% said they weren't sure.
Since then, we at True Girl have been talking with moms about how to solve this problem. One thing we learned is this: it’s difficult for Christian moms to find age-appropriate tools created just for their girl. These women wanted deep and relevant books, Bible studies, and other engaging resources for their daughters.
One tool moms sometimes talked about was a podcast created just for their daughters! You asked. And in 2021, through a partnership with Revive Our Hearts, we delivered.
Introducing the new True Girl Podcast!
The True Girl podcast is a 10- to 12-minute mom+daughter connecting experience that introduces 7-12-year-old girls to biblical Truth on relevant and important topics during the time that they can drive from home to school . . . or church . . . or the grocery store. (If you wanna binge, you’ll have to go on vacation!) We currently have three seasons available.
Season #1 • 8 Conversations about True Beauty & Dignity
